Design and Build

For anyone who has had the opportunity to design a home to suite their needs and lived in that home will tell you that it is the only way to go when building.

The ability to choose where rooms go, how long walls are to be, how big you want the alfresco and what height you want your ceilings are just some of the choices when designing your own home.

Living in a custom designed home is an awesome feeling, your furniture fits perfectly, everything is organised into cupboards and draws just right and the kids rooms are exactly where you want them located. Not to mention the purpose built theatre room for the movie buff or the amazing alfresco area for entertaining friends and family.

From the first home Queensland Custom Homes built the design has been unique to the home owner and we are proud to say that we never build a home design exactly the same twice, so your design is exclusively yours.

To start this process, initially the builder and designer will have a meeting on site with the owners to discuss the best design to suite the property and your lifestyle. From here a meeting at our office is carried out to ascertain any design items that you would like included in the design along with size, style and budget to ensure we can design the best home for you. Once the design and review process is complete the drawings are taken to 3D to allow the owners to see what the home will look like. This process usually takes around 2-3 weeks and is very exciting to see come together.

Once all parties are happy the design is taken to construction drawings ready for council approvals and construction. The process couldn’t be simpler.
