The Building Process

The first step is for the home owner to meet with Chris Bonnitcha, the builder to discuss their goals, wish lists and budget for their house and provide any plans they may already have.  From there we can give you an obligation free quote from the plans provided.

If the client does not have a set of plans Queensland Custom Homes will work closely with you and our preferred architect to develop a set of preliminary sketches that suite your needs.  Once you are happy with the sketches our architect will complete a set of plans with a 3 dimensional view for you to check.  Changes can be made at this stage before being returned to the architect who will complete the final set of working drawings.

All soil tests, footing designs and engineering evaluations are completed prior to council approvals.

Once the design has been council approved we aim to begin works within 10 days of receiving the decision notice.

We will work closely with the home owner throughout the building process to ensure you are satisfied.  Some owners like to choose their own products including tiles, kitchen appliances, tapware, vanities, basins etc, other clients may simply prefer to sign a contract and move in when complete leaving all aspects to the builder.

At the completion of a build the house is professionally cleaned inside and out so all that is left is for you, the owner is to move in and enjoy.
